The Pelican 1490CC1 case is the same outer shell as the Pelican 1490 Case, the difference is however this case (Pelican 1490CC1) is the laptop / notebook version of the case. (CC stands for computer case.) As you can see from the picture there is no foam in this case. The Pelican 1490CC1 case comes with a tray to fit your laptop / notebook computer in the base and a computer lid organizer in the lid.
