Frame Panel Mounts

Frame Panel Mounts are sold as a set of 4 mounts. The mounts can be fastened using 3M Products - Scotch Weld DP8005 or DP 8010 are highly recommended. Screws can also be used, but my require additional waterproofing if your case is waterproof. Once attached, a customer supplied frame panel can be attached. The Frame Panel Mounts are perfect for attaching gauge plates or to customize your case.

Frame Panel Mounts: A customer's story.

We come across stories all the time of how our cases are being put to use. One in particular is an interesting one. A customer of ours bought a pelican 1120 case and used it in a very unique way. He is a photographer and is often looking for new ways to use his camera. He bought and used the Frame Panel Mounts to mount some switches which were attached to his custom frame panel. The extra wires that attached to the switches below the frame panel were stored underneath along with the hard drive and battery to power the camera. In this way the most sensitive equipment would remain undamaged. He drilled a small hole in the back of the pelican case (which voids the warranty) and ran the wires out to his camera. He then took his setup into the wilderness and mounted both the pelican case and camera to a tree where it would snap pictures continuously for a few days. It turns out there is a large predator living near him...
